Celebrity Sightings #1 & 2!

Our first stop this morning was the Guggenheim.

 

On our way there, we stepped into the lobby of the American Museum of Natural Science.

We then more thoroughly explored Central Park... There's a castle. Also, we saw Al Roker riding his bike.

We kinda-sorta looked for that place where they filmed for Doctor Who, but it turns out Central Park is huge and we were tired.

But not too tired to go to the MET!! Which was awesome. They have allllll kinds of art! And it's huge! It will necessitate a second trip. (PS they allow photography!)

This morning, we went down to the Walter Kerr box office to pick up student tickets for "The Heiress." Our seats just so happened to be by the exit nearest the stage door, so we were first in line to meet....

DAN STEVENS!!! (Also known as Matthew Crawley on Downton Abbey.)

He was very patient and kind with all of the people vying for his autograph/photo. It was kind of the most exciting thing ever. It didn't even matter that we got off the bus 9 blocks too soon. :D
