I'm a slug!

This is the first time in--*counts on fingers*--nine months that I have had nothing that I need to do. During the school year, there's always a problem set, a quiz, an exam that's not far enough away to ignore. Even over the Christmas holidays there were applications to fill out for summer positions.

But in this little interim between the end of my semester and the start of my research, I have nothing to do. It is wonderful.

Right now my main activities include:

  • sleeping
  • eating
  • watching Doctor Who
  • watching other types of television
  • reading
  • preparing for Camp NaNoWriMo (campnanowrimo.org)
  • baking
  • knitting
  • the internet
  • being a slug 
I am relishing this, because I know I'll miss it when work/school start up again.

    You are slug. A very, VERY sluggish slug. Who lays around like a SLUG all day long. And then at the end of the day when I want the couch for just a little while I can't have it because you're too busy being a SLUG all over it.
